Modbus Data Logger

Modbus is a very popular communication protocol used in the process control industry. Most of the industrial instruments provide a facility to communicate over this protocol. Modbus Data Logger provides the logging facility to such instruments. Usually in a plant, there are indicators installed for monitoring the process parameters. However, they do not have logging facilities. Using Modbus logger, these instruments can be added logging feature without changing them. As Modbus is a multi-slave protocol, many such instruments can be connected to a single logger, saving on the cost of updating the instrument and providing log in a single instrument. This data can be further communicated over RS485 / USB / LAN / WiFi to remote computers or DCS.
